The TaoTao DB X1 140cc Dirt Bike is an off-road model designed for riders who want a manual transmission and a larger wheel setup. It uses a 140cc air-cooled 4-stroke single-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox (1-N-2-3-4). Starting is handled by kick start only.
This model is CARB approved and compliant in California. Power delivery is suitable for trail riding and off-road practice. Fuel tank capacity is 1 gallon, supporting short to medium off-road sessions.
The DB X1 rides on a 17-inch front tire and a 14-inch rear tire, offering better balance than smaller youth bikes. Seat height measures 35 inches, suited for teen and adult riders. Ground clearance is 11.4 inches, helping with uneven terrain.
Braking is handled by front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, using hand control on the front and foot control on the rear. Ignition uses a CDI system, and power is transferred through chain drive. This bike is off-road use only and not street legal.
The bike ships 70% assembled inside a metal crate. A certified technician is required for final assembly, prep, maintenance, and inspection. A fully assembled unit is available only for pickup from the Dallas, Texas retail store. Warranty covers 30 days for replacement parts only. Labor, mechanic costs, and returns are not covered.
