The Apollo Thunder T-40 RFN 140cc Dirt Bike is an off-road model built for adult riders who want manual control in a mid-size dirt bike platform. It uses a 140cc air-cooled 4-stroke single-cylinder engine from YX, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission (N-1-2-3-4). Starting is handled by kick start only.
The engine produces 11 HP at 8000 RPM and 10.2 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM, offering responsive power for trail riding. Fuel delivery uses a NIBBI PE22 carburetor, and ignition is managed by a CDI system. Fuel tank capacity is 1.03 gallons.
The T-40 RFN rides on a 17-inch front wheel and a 14-inch rear wheel, providing balance and control on dirt terrain. Seat height measures 33 inches, suited for adult riders. Ground clearance is 13 inches, helping with uneven trails. The frame uses a double-beam heavy-duty steel design for strength.
Suspension includes non-adjustable front and rear shocks from SYD. Braking is handled by front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, with hand control on the front and foot control on the rear. This bike is off-road use only and not street legal.
The bike ships 70% assembled inside a metal crate. A certified technician is required for final assembly, prep, maintenance, and inspection. A fully assembled unit is available only for pickup from the Dallas, Texas retail store. Freight delivery includes lift gate service, residential delivery, shipping insurance, and delivery appointment scheduling.
